Öppna drop-in-workshoppar för uppsatsskrivande studenter
Kom med din text-workshopparna är igång för i år. Nu i januari är det också dags för våra drop-in-tillfällen i Zoom där studenterna kan ställa frågor och få hjälp med att lägga upp sina färdiga uppsatser i LUP Student Paper. Tipsa gärna dina studenter!

Skriver du uppsats eller annan skrivuppgift? Är du osäker på hur du ska citera det där kapitlet eller den där YouTube-videon, eller undrar du hur din litteraturlista bör se ut? Vill du få tips på hur du kan göra din text mer akademisk? Har du problem med att hitta tidigare forskning eller med att använda den i din text? Har du skrivkramp? Eller har du några andra frågor om akademiskt skrivande, läsande och sökande? Kom och besök vår öppna textverkstad och få hjälp av en språkpedagog och en bibliotekarie! Vi finns i datorsalen SOL:B210 på andra våningen i SOL-biblioteket varje torsdag 15–16.

Open drop-in workshops for students
Our Come by with your text workshops for students have started again after the holidays. In January, we’ll also be offering drop-in sessions on Zoom, where students can ask questions and get help uploading their completed theses to LUP Student Papers.
Come by with your text
Are you writing a thesis or an essay or something else? Are you unsure of how to quote that chapter or refer to that YouTube video, or what a Works Cited list is supposed to look like? Do you want some tips on how to make your text more academic? Do you have problems finding previous research or using it in your text? Do you have writer’s block? Or do you have any other questions about academic writing, reading, or searching for literature? Come to our drop-in workshop and get help from an academic writing expert and a librarian! You can find us in the computer room SOL:B210 on the second floor of the SOL Library, every Thursday 15–16.

Har du frågor kring hur du registrerar eller uppdaterar din information i LUCRIS - exempelvis gällande poster för publikationer, aktiviteter och projekt eller hur relationer skapas mellan dem? Inför den årliga forskningsredovisningen anordnar HT-biblioteken två drop-in tillfälle där du kan få hjälp att använda LUCRIS. Vi erbjuder ett digitalt tillfälle och ett tillfälle i datorsal i SOL-biblioteket.

LUCRIS Drop-In Session
Do you have any questions about how to register or update your information in LUCRIS? Perhaps regarding publications, activities, and projects, or how to relate them to one another? In advance of the annual research review, the HT Libraries arrange two drop-in sessions where you can get hands-on help using LUCRIS. We offer one online session and one session in a computer room in the SOL Library.

Månadens e-resurs | januari 2026 – Testaments of the Holocaust
Testaments of the Holocaust är en onlinepublikation från Wiener Library i London. Den innehåller en mängd källmaterial:
- ögonvittnesskildringar som samlades in före, under och efter andra världskriget från människor som flydde undan nazismen
- en omfattande samling fotografier av judiskt liv före kriget, av nazisternas verksamhet samt av getton och läger
- en samling vykort med synagogor i Tyskland och Östeuropa, varav de flesta numera är förstörda
- en unik samling nazistiska propagandapublikationer, inklusive en stor samling ”pedagogiska” barnböcker
- ett kartotek med biografiska uppgifter om framträdande personer i Nazityskland, många med porträttfotografier
- pamfletter, bulletiner och tidskrifter som publicerats av Wiener Library för att dokumentera och sprida institutets forskning
75% av innehållet är skrivet på tyska. Materialet härrör från tiden mellan 1889 och 1965 och innehåller över 100 000 bilder.
Wiener Library grundades av Alfred Wiener, som redan 1928 började samla in material för att informera om nazistpartiet, dess ledare och dess verksamhet. Tillsammans med professor David Cohen grundade han Jewish Central Information Office (JCIO) i syfte att fortsätta arbetet med att samla in och sprida information och bevis om händelserna i Tyskland och nazisternas behandling av judar. JCIO blev sedermera Wiener Library, som numera är ett bibliotek och forskningscenter.

E-resource of the Month | January 2026 – Testaments of the Holocaust
Testaments to the Holocaust is the online publication of the archives of the Wiener Library, London, the first archive to collect evidence of the Holocaust and the anti-semitic activities of the German Nazi Party. It contains a large amount of source material:
- the eyewitness accounts which were collected before, during and after the Second World War, from people fleeing the Nazi oppression
- a large collection of photographs of pre-war Jewish life, the activities of the Nazis, and the ghettoes and camps
- a collection of postcards of synagogues in Germany and eastern Europe, most since destroyed
- a unique collection of Nazi propaganda publications including a large collection of 'educational' children's' books
- the card index of biographical details of prominent figures in Nazi Germany, many with portrait photographs
- pamphlets, bulletins and journals published by the Wiener Library to record and disseminate the research of the Institute
75% of the content is written in German. The material dates from the period between 1889 and 1965 and contains over 100,000 images.
The Wiener Library was founded by Alfred Wiener, who already in 1928 began to collect available information about the Nazi Party, its leaders and its activities. Together with Professor David Cohen he established the Jewish Central Information Office (JCIO), with the purpose of continuing the work collecting and disseminating information and evidence about the events happening in Germany and the Nazis' treatment of Jews. JCIO became the Wiener Library, which is now a library and research centre.
