How to Create a Data Management Plan for your Research Project

Wednesday 19 May, 13.15-15.00, via Zoom

Are you in the process of writing your research application? Do have any questions on how to prepare your data management plan? A data management plan (DMP) helps you manage your data, in terms of collection, organisation, storage and preservation. Taking the time to write a good DMP gives you an opportunity to think through how to organise your data and what this means in terms of time and costs.

In this session, we will give an introduction to what is usually included in a DMP and go through some handy tools and links to useful resources. We will also take a look at Lund University's system for data management plans, DMPRoadmap.

More on Data Management Plans and a checklist can be found on our web pages on research data management. You are welcome to send us your questions in advance, or bring them to discuss in the group.

The session is available for employees at the HT Faculties. Please register your interest to forskningsstodhtbibl.luse by May 11. You are welcome to get in touch with questions in advance!
