Programme Autumn 2024
Welcome to our seminars and workshops in the field of scholarly communication, for doctoral students, researchers and other employees at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology. The research support team is happy to arrange a meeting or workshop on a particular topic such as open access publishing, evaluation of publications, or research data management should you, your research group, division or department be interested.
Improve your visibility
A good communication strategy can improve the visibility and potential impact of your research. There are several ways to communicate and disseminate information about your research, some of which are described on our page on visibility.
During this session, we will have a closer look at some of these options, e.g. ORCID, updating your LUCRIS profile, and creating profiles in different databases and search services.
We are happy to hold presentations, for example at staff meetings, please contact us for more information: forskningsstod@htbibl.lu.se.
Tuesday 17 September 2024, 10:00–11:00, SOL:B210
The session is available for employees at the HT Faculties. Advance registration is not necessary.
Research activities in LUCRIS and the Research Portal
By registering your research activities in LUCRIS, you can visualize research presented in other ways than by publishing. A research activity in LUCRIS can be related to other content such as publications and projects.
We will present some important aspects when registering activities and give a few examples. During this session, you can also get practical help in LUCRIS.

Research projects in LUCRIS and the Research Portal

How can you describe the project in the Research Portal and visualize publications and research activities that are related to the project? We will walk you through some important aspects when registering projects, for example which type of project to choose and how to create a project from an award (external funding). During this session, you can also get practical help in LUCRIS.

Open access publishing
Ask all your questions about open access publishing! What possibilities are there for open access publishing? What does the Lund University’s open access policy mean? How do I choose CC license? Why are there costs involved in open access publishing? Is funding available? What is Diamond OA? What version can I self-archive in LUCRIS?
You are welcome to submit your questions in advance: forskningsstodhtbibl.luse!
