Databases
If you are looking for material related to a specific subject, it can be favourable to use a specific database. Databases contain everything from source material, encyclopedias and articles to maps and images. If you have any questions about databases, or want to know more about how to use one in particular, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The databases available through Lund University Libraries can be accessed via Databases A-Z in Finn. Here you will find both licensed and open resources selected by librarians. You can search freely using the search box, browse by subject, or navigate using the alphabetical list.
Tip: On the search results page, you can click the blue information icon to the right of each entry to read more about that database. A yellow padlock icon indicates that access requires logging in with your Lucat account or Student account. The Finn icon means that the contents of the database can be found when you search in Finn.
For more guidance, you can explore our Subject Guides, where we highlight databases that are especially relevant for your field.
