Publishing at the HT Faculties
The HT Libraries’ research support and the HT Publication Series provide support for, among other things, diamond publishing of books, series, and journals at the Faculties of Humanities and Theology.
Read more about diamond publishing and other routes to open access on the HT Libraries’ web page about open access.
Editorial teams for journals and series can contact forskningsstodhtbibl.luse at the HT Libraries for support with questions regarding publishing, dissemination, and evaluation. If you wish to publish your book or thesis in a series at the HT Faculties or are an editor of a series, support is also available through the HT Publication Series.
Journals
The libraries at Lund University collaborate on diamond publishing of journals on the platform Open Journals at Lund University (OJLU). The platform is based on the Open Journal System (OJS), and the University Library (UB) provides server space and the system free of charge. The system is open source and developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), and it can manage the entire publishing process from manuscript submission, through peer review, to final publication.
Journal editors at Lund University are welcome to use OJLU for diamond publishing of existing or new journals. Journal editors at the Faculties of Humanities and Theology are welcome to contact the HT Libraries’ research support for help getting started and for support with technical and publishing-related questions: forskningsstodhtbibl.luse

The platform is based on the Open Monograph Press (OMP) system, and the University Library (UB) provides server space and the system free of charge. The system is open source and developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), and it can manage the entire editorial process, from manuscript submission, review, and editing, to publication.

Other Publications
Other publications, such as conference proceedings and reports, which may be published as a PDF linked from one of the university’s web pages, can also use the available resources to maximize their dissemination and discoverability. For example, they can have an ISBN and, where applicable, an ISSN.
ISBNs are assigned by HT Publication Series.
It is important to note that the university’s web pages are not optimal for long-term preservation of publications. It is better to use a system specifically designed for research publications.
